Are you looking to work in a school with a community working together for the best possible outcome for young people?
Wadham School is friendly, vibrant and forward looking. We invite applications from science teachers who can communicate their love for the life scientific.
At GCSE, the majority of students study for AQA Trilogy Science. The most able 20-30% are enabled to take separate Science GCSEs. At ‘A’ level we follow AQA Physics, Chemistry and Biology specifications.
It is an exciting time at Wadham School with an ethos and drive for the school to be much more than learning in lessons. A varied programme of extra-curricular activities and house competitions provides an exciting opportunity for staff to be involved in the wider school community.
The school serves a beautiful area of South Somerset with excellent links to the South West, Bristol and Bath and great train links to London from Crewkerne itself and Taunton.
If this gives you a picture of a community that you would be excited to be part of, then the students and staff at Wadham School invite you to apply and would love to meet you. Please complete the online application form (link on the top right). Your supporting statement should include how you would, or have, encouraged scientific curiosity in young people.
