Non-Uniform Day for World Mental Health Day

Students last week held a non-uniform day to raise money for a local charity C.I.C who provide fantastic support to Wadham students and their families. We are pleased to say we raised £575.73. Thank you for your kindness, it is very much appreciated.

Sporting Fixtures

Girls Football Fixture

How good are these girls!! Their first game out for Wadham and they progress to the next round of the cup winning 2-0. Great effort and well played.

Year 10 Rugby Fixture

Travelled to Holyrood for their first fixture of the season. For many it was their first ever game of competitive Rugby.

It turned out to be a very tough game, however all the boys showed great heart and determination. Well done all. Onwards and upwards.

Wadham Careers Fair

On Thursday 20th October, we welcomed over 50 visitors into our Leisure Centre for Wadham's Careers Fair.  We had an array of local employers, further education establishments, training providers, higher educational establishments and even Blossom - a milking cow! All our pupils were lucky enough to spend some time at the fair during the day, finding out about local opportunities and potential future career ideas.  It was lovely to see so many parents and carers also visiting the fair after the parent/tutor evening.  We are sure that this is a very useful event for both our pupils and their families.

Casey Young - Amazing Achievement

On Sunday, October 16th Casey jumped 15,000 ft to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Football Team he plays for.

Casey was first inspired to skydive by his Grandad, who was in the RAF and completed more than 40 jumps during his service across the globe.

Casey said: "The main reason I wanted to complete this skydive was not only to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Football Team but also to raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy.”

“I would also like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated it really means a lot to me and the team."

"All the money raised will go directly to my club as the team has been invited to a CP festival in Copenhagen in August 2023."
